DC Trade Solicitations for June 2026 - DC K.O., Superman: Triangle Era Omnibus Vol. 3, New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1, Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol. 2, Power Girl Omnibus, JSA: Year One, Aquaman: Justice League Blue, Swamp Thing: Dark Genesis Omnibus

New Titans #71

The DC Comics June 2026 trade paperback and hardcover solicitations fall in that unusual space that sometimes happens in March, ahead of DC’s fall catalog, such that these are the rare books that come completely by surprise. And what a bunch of books they are.

Any other month, this would be the headline, but just to get the biggest mainstream news out of the way, this month sees five DC K.O. books solicited, the main series plus two collecting specials and then dedicated Justice League and Superman volumes. We’ll have to see from the catalog whether others, like Aquaman, Flash, or Titans volumes, are in the offing.

But then this month we’ve also got the Superman: The Triangle Era Omnibus Vol. 3. Happily, since just 2024, we’ve gone from a big gap in the post-Crisis, post-Byrne Superman collections to now everything being collected (or having been collected) from Byrne’s Man of Steel through to “Death of Superman” and beyond.

The third Triangle Titles omnibus takes us from “Reign of the Supermen” through “Bizarro’s World,” and now the question isn’t “will it fill in the gaps” but “how far will it go?” These omnibuses are at about 10 issues per each of the four Superman titles, so a fourth volume could take us to about Superman #100 — so, through “Battle/Fall of Metropolis,” the Zero Hour tie-ins, “Dead Again,” and then “Death of Clark Kent.” As I suggested on the occasion of the first Triangle Titles omnibus, that might be a good place to stop. Or keep going to “King of the World,” win-win either way.

And then. And then! Reader, at first I thought New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1 was just a reprint of the New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 1 and I about skipped over it. But no. Following the New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 5 (or the New Teen Titans Vol. 14, take your pick), it is the New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1, as the title dropped the “Teen” with issue #50, and which promises to collect “the end of Marv Wolfman’s Titans odyssey.” Will that put us all the way at New Titans #130, with a final lineup that included Green Lantern, Darkstar, and Supergirl? Or something a little earlier? Either way, this book includes issues #71–76, which means …

I’ve got my “Titans Hunt” collection!

Well, some of it. There’s issues #77–84 and then some still to collect, but no doubt there’s at least a second omnibus in the offing.

Hooray! And that’s before we’ve even seen DC’s fall catalog, so I’m optimistic more good things are coming (I take that Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Vol. 1 reprint as a favorable sign, for instance).

Plenty other regular series books here on my buy list, but I’ll stop there. More to talk about before the end of the month, I’m sure.

Absolute Batman Incorporated (2026 Edition) HC

Collects all eight issues of the original series, issues #0–13 of the New 52 series, and the Leviathan Strikes! special.

Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol. 2: The Agency HC

Collecting issues #7–12 in hardcover and paperback at the end of August, by Deniz Camp and Javier Rodríguez. I reviewed Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol. 1: Martian Vision this past November.

Aquaman by Geoff Johns Book One TP

There were plenty drawbacks to the New 52, but Geoff Johns' Aquaman was undeniably a boon for the character. This volume collects issues #0–13, being Johns' Aquaman Vol. 1: The Trench and Aquaman Vol. 2: The Others, which I reviewed in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Aquaman Vol. 2: Justice League Blue TP

In paperback in August, the second collections by Jeremy Adams and John Timms, collecting issues #9–14. I reviewed Aquaman Vol. 1: The Dark Tide this past December.

Batgirl Vol. 3: The War of Shadows TP

In paperback in August, collecting issues #12–16 by Tate Brombal, Takeshi Miyazawa, and Stephen Segovia. I reviewed Batgirl Vol. 1: Mother in October.

Batman Arkham: Clayface (2026 Edition) TP

Reprinting the collection, coming in August with a new movie on the horizon. Collects Detective Comics #40, #298, and #478; Outsiders #21; Secret Origins #44; Batman #550; Catwoman #4; Batman: Gotham Knights #23 and #69–71; and Batman Villains Secret Files #1.

Batman by Tom King Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Collects Batman #33–69, Flash #64–65, and stories from DC Nation #0 and Batman Secret Files #1, being Batman Vol. 5: The Rules of Engagement, Batman Vol. 6: Bride or Burglar, Batman Vol. 7: The Wedding, Batman Vol. 8: Cold Days, Batman Vol. 9: The Tyrant Wing, and Batman Vol. 10: Knightmares, plus the Heroes in Crisis: The Price tie-in story.

Batman: Detective Comics Vol. 3: The Courage That Kills HC

Issues #1101–1106 by Tom Taylor and Mikel Janin, in hardcover and paperback in August. I reviewed Batman: Detective Comics Vol. 1: Mercy of the Father this past January.

Batman: The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween TP

The ten-issue miniseries and Long Halloween special, in paperback in August, following the hardcover. I’m reading it now!

Batman/Static: Beyond HC

In hardcover in August, collecting the six-issue miniseries by Evan Narcisse, Nikolas Draper-Ivey, and Miguel Mendonça.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest Vol. 9: The Merger HC

Issues #44–49, in hardcover and paperback in August, by Mark Waid and Mark Russell. I had not realized that Russell is co-writing the title?

Batwoman Omnibus (2026 Edition) HC

Collects Detective Comics #854–863, Batwoman #0 (the interstitial one), Batwoman #0–24, and the Batwoman Annual #1. This is a book of high-highs and low-lows, going from Greg Rucka and JH Williams' stellar debut of Batwoman Kate Kane in Detective, to Williams and W. Haden Blackman’s complicated but sufficiently haunting work on the Batwoman New 52 series, to the abrupt end of Williams and Blackman’s run amidst some friction with DC, to the inevitably swift and unsatisfying conclusion to that run by incoming writer Marc Andreyko. Still worth a read; when it was good, it was really good.

This is the stories Batwoman: Elegy, “Cutter”, Batwoman Vol. 1: Hydrology, Batwoman Vol. 2: To Drown the World,

Birds of Prey by Gail Simone Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Collects Birds of Prey #91–108, Birds of Prey #1–15 (lightly tied to Brightest Day), and stories from Convergence: Nightwing/Oracle #1 and Birds of Prey Giant #1. Being “by Gail Simone,” this necessarily skips issues #109–127 of the original series by other writers, though it makes me question whether issue #91 will really be in here, since it’s also got a guest writer (and was not collected originally).

This is, give or take, Birds of Prey: Perfect Pitch, Birds of Prey: Blood and Circuits, Birds of Prey: Dead of Winter, Birds of Prey: End Run, and Birds of Prey: The Death of Oracle.

Bruce Wayne: Not Super: The Bat-catastrophe TP

Young readers graphic novel by Stuart Gibbs and Berat Pekmezci.

Catwoman Vol. 3: Court of Fools TP

In paperback in early August, the next collection by Torunn Gronbekk, collecting issues #79–84. Seems like this is still going, though I was sorry to glance at the solicitation and see what seems a rehash of well-traveled Catwoman plots; granted I haven’t read it yet. I did read Gronbekk’s Catwoman Vol. 1: Who Is Selina Kyle in July.

Dark Nights: Metal: DC Compact Comics Edition HC

Dark Nights: Metal #1–6, Batman: Lost #1, and Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt #1, in compact format.

DC Finest: Green Lantern: Hard-Traveling Heroes TP

Contents are listed as Green Lantern #62–82, The Flash #191, and World’s Finest Comics #201, which seems a little off; even the sparsest “Hard Traveling Heroes” collections tend to be Green Lantern #76–87 and #89 and Flash #217–219 and #226. Starts earlier and collects more Green Lantern issues?

DC Finest: Justice League of America: Crisis on Earth-X TP

Collects Justice League of America #103–132, with appearances by (deep breath) Phantom Stranger, Shaggy Man, Elongated Man, Red Tornado, the Freedom Fighters, Eclipso, the Key, Libra, Amazo, Nekron, Sonar, and Queen Bee, plus the Justice Society and the saga of Sandy, the Sandman’s sidekick; Hawkman and Golden Eagle; and the wedding of Adam Strange.

DC Finest: Suicide Squad: The Nightshade Odyssey TP

Following the earlier DC Finest: Suicide Squad: Trial by Fire volume, this is said to collect Suicide Squad #11–20, Suicide Squad Annual #1, Doom Patrol and Suicide Squad Special #1, Flash #12, Manhunter #1 and #6, Justice League International #13, Deadshot #1–4, Checkmate #1 and #8. I question some of that — Manhunter #1 and #6 are by John Ostrander and Kim Yale, though I don’t see any Suicide Squad material in it. Not sure the provenance of Flash #12, either.

DC K.O. HC

Issues #1–5, in early August, in hardcover and paperback.

DC K.O.: All Fight TP

This is DC K.O.: Superman vs. Captain Atom #1, Aquaman #12, DC K.O.: Wonder Woman vs. Lobo #1, Titans #30, DC K.O.: Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna #1, Flash #28, Superman #33, and DC K.O.: Red Hood vs. Joker #1, just in paperback, also at the beginning of August. These are the “All Fight Month” titles, whether within their own series or in specials.

DC K.O.: Battle Royale TP

In paperback the second week of August. The headliner here seems to be DC K.O. Knightfight #1–4, though this also collects Justice League: The Omega Act Special #1 (also in the Justice League book), DC K.O.: The Kids Are All Fight Special #1, DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam #1, and DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 — so, the specials that aren’t the “Vs.” specials.

DC K.O.: Justice League Unlimited TP

The solicitation cover for this is that of Justice League Unlimited #9, which will be collected in Justice League Unlimited Vol. 2: The Omega Act, but this is Justice League Unlimited #12–16, coming the third week in August in paperback.

DC K.O.: Superman TP

Collects Joshua Williamson’s issues #28–35 in paperback in July, a lot earlier than the rest (unless that’s meant to be August). That picks up right where Superman Vol. 5: Love and Mercy left off. The solicitation does not mention, at least, the inclusion of the Summer of Superman special.

DC WIP: Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1

Oversized presentation of Bilquis Evely’s work from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which I reviewed in 2022.

Deadman by Kelley Jones: The Complete Collection (New Edition) TP

New (and expanded?) printing, collecting Deadman: Love After Death, Deadman: Exorcism, stories from the recent Batman: The Brave and the Bold #13–16, and “Grave Doings” from Action Comics Weekly #618–621.

Deathstroke Vol. 1: The Professional (2026 Edition) TP

Pleased to see Christopher Priest’s exceptional Deathstroke run still getting some love. This is issues #1–5 and the Rebirth special; I reviewed Deathstroke Vol. 1: The Professional in 2018.

Firestorm: The Nuclear Man (2026 Edition) TP

I guess this is timed for Jeff Lemire’s new Firestorm series. I’d also guess there’s not much connection between that and this from Gerry Conway from the Legends of Tomorrow anthology series, but I’ve got it in the pile so maybe I’ll read it beforehand.

Gotham City: Year One Deluxe Edition HC

Deluxe edition of the six-issue Tom King/Phil Hester miniseries; still got to find time to read this one.

Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Vol. 1 (2026 Edition) TP

Said to collect Green Lantern #48–57, New Titans #116–117, and R.E.B.E.L.S. #1. The original printing of this also had Green Lantern #0 and no reason to think that’s not still in there. We saw a compendium that collected the first two volumes of this, but never any material into the cancelled third volume; maybe this is a sign there’s still a chance.

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Collects all 12 issues and the annual in Compact Comics format. I reviewed Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 before coming back to read all the other years in 2024.

JSA Vol. 3: Year One HC

Issues #13–18 by Jeff Lemire and Gavin Guidry, in hardcover and paperback in August.

Kamandi by Jack Kirby Omnibus (2026 Edition) HC

Issues #1–40 of the 1970s series by Jack Kirby, apparently “reprinted on period appropriate paper.”

Milestone Compendium Five TP

Collects the final issues of the original Milestone runs – Blood Syndicate #33–35, Hardware #39–50, Icon #38–42, Static #32–45, plus Wise Son: The White Wolf #1–4, Heroes #1–6, Static Shock!: Rebirth of the Cool #1–4, Static Shock Special #1, and content from 9–11: The World’s Finest Comic Book Writers & Artists Tell Stories to Remember #2, Superman & Batman Magazine #7, and the unpublished Xombi Hanukkah Special. Previous solicitations had also included Milestone Forever #1–2.

The New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1 HC

Said to collect New Titans #50–76, New Titans Annual #5–6, Secret Origins Annual #3, Batman #436–442, Hawk and Dove #11–12, Hawk and Dove Annual #1, and a story from Secret Origins #46.

Power Girl: New Beginnings and Old Friends Omnibus HC

Collects the early 2000s Power Girl material, including JSA: Classified #1–4 by Geoff Johns with Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti; Supergirl #12 by Palmiotti, Justin Gray, and Conner, introducing the new Terra who would appear in the Power Girl series; Terra #1–4 by Palmiotti, Gray, and Conner; Power Girl #1–27 (Palmiotti, Gray, Conner through issue #12, then Judd Winick and Lilah Sturges); and Wonder Woman #600 (likely the “Fuzzy Logic” story). Being Power Girl,

Superman: The Triangle Era Omnibus Vol. 3 HC

Collects Action Comics #687–697, Action Comics Annual #5, Adventures of Superman #500–510, Adventures of Superman Annual #5, Superman #78–88, Superman Annual #5, Superman: The Man of Steel #22–32, Superman: The Man of Steel Annual #2, Green Lantern #46, and Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey.

Superman Unlimited Vol. 2: This Looks Like a Job ... HC

In hardcover and paperback in August. This is said to collect Superman Unlimited #7–10 and the Superman: Chains of Love Special, which still leaves the Summer of Superman special missing in action.

Swamp Thing: Dark Genesis Omnibus HC

Seemingly quite the complete volume, this is the original Swamp Thing #1–25 (that final issue newly completed); then the second series, Saga of the Swamp Thing #1–15 and Saga of the Swamp Thing Annual #1, which takes us almost but not quite up to the Alan Moore run. Included also are Brave and the Bold #122 and #176, DC Comics Presents #8, Challengers of the Unknown #81–87, and stories from Phantom Stranger #14, House of Secrets #92 and #140, and, we’re told, an unpublished Patchwork Man story from House of Secrets #141. Also here with “high-end, period appropriate paper.” Coming in November.

Teen Titans Go! On Strike! TP

Collects Teen Titans Go! issues #7–12 by Sholly Fisch and company.

Wonder Woman Vol. 2: Year One (2026 Edition) TP

Collecting mainly the past-set issues from Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott’s Rebirth run, Wonder Woman #2, #4, #6, #8, #10, #12, and #14. I reviewed Wonder Woman Vol. 2: Year One in 2017.

Wonder Woman: The Golden Age Omnibus Vol. 3 (2026 Edition) HC

Collects Sensation Comics #49–69, Comic Cavalcade #14–22, and Wonder Woman #16–25.
