DC K.O., DC/Marvel: Cosmic Kiss, Reign of the Superboys, DCU by Giffen, Webtoons, Vertigo, Red Robin Compendium, Spectre and Warlord Omnibuses Vol. 2, DC Finest: Legends, Absolute Power Omnibus, more in DC Comics Fall 2026 solicitations

There’s two perspectives that I want to offer on the DC Comics Fall 2026 trade paperback and hardcover solicitations. The first is that this list is great. From a second compendium of Chuck Dixon’s Robin to a compendium of Red Robin; a New Titans omnibus; Keith Giffen’s Heckler(!); Spectre and Warlord; so much Swamp Thing; sensible-seeming DC K.O. collections; and DC Finest: Crisis on Infinite Earths collections that feel almost overstuffed, with Legends right behind.

Those DC Finest books are clearly killing it, from the Event books to Rachel Pollack’s Doom Patrol, to Harley Quinn, to rarely collected 1980s Green Lantern Corps and 1990s Catwoman. There’s a lot being offered here, from every era, and things like DC now publishing Rick Veitch’s once cancelled, once controversial Swamp Thing issues show me a DC braver and more comfortable with itself than it has been in decades.

Here’s the other perspective. Of the 166 books on this list, if we take out omnibuses, Absolutes, DC Finest, Compacts, collections of current regular series or recent miniseries, and compendiums of well-collected runs … there’s not all that much left.

The Robin: Tim Drake book has some issues that weren’t previously collected; the Red Robin book doesn’t have anything not previously collected, I don’t think, though it’s nicely unexpected. Sgt. Rock has some uncollected stuff in it, I think, as does Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch Book Three; Paul Jenkins' Batman: Jekyll & Hyde hasn’t been available for a while, nor Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray’s first Jonah Hex collection; and then there’s the DCU by Keith Giffen book with Heckler in it.

But on the occasion of the DC Next Level Firestorm series, I see DC rereleasing Firestorm: The Nuclear Man, the collection out of the Legends of Tomorrow anthology series, not particularly well regarded. Meanwhile, there have been no dedicated collections of the Firestorm series that ran from 1982 to 1990 and comprised 100 issues. Too, also DC Next Level-related, the rerelease of Demon: Hell’s Hitman, when there’s about 40 other issues of that 1990s Demon series that have never been collected.

Which is to say: The DC Finest line continues to impress, with good showings here for Legends, Catwoman, Green Lantern Corps, and more. But below that $40 price tag, I’m not seeing much in the way of DC innovating in or expanding their collections lines. And DC Finest aren’t offered in digital, either; plenty of DC’s print collections that have gone out of print are still available in digital form, but that falls apart when it comes to DC Finest.

Again, I think DC is in a good place right now, I really do, and I think their day to day output is fantastic. I’m happy with DC, and I’ve got plenty to read with their regular series alone. But the direction they’re going with their collections doesn’t adhere so well to my reading habits, at least, and that’s an increasing point of minor concern for me.

Let’s take a look at that big, beautiful catalog!

I’m wondering about some of that – the Wonder Woman #10 and so on – but it seems complete in the main, and Dream Team is a nice touch.

I read this, among other places, in Absolute Power, Absolute Power: Task Force VII, and Absolute Power: Origins.

Absolute Ronin (New Edition) HC

Batman & Son: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Collects Batman #655–658 and #663–666, the same as the original (shortest) collection. I reviewed Batman and Son in 2007.

Batman Arkham: Clayface (2026 Edition) TP

Reprinting the collection, coming in August with a new movie on the horizon. Collects Detective Comics #40, #298, and #478; Outsiders #21; Secret Origins #44; Batman #550; Catwoman #4; Batman: Gotham Knights #23 and #69–71; and Batman Villains Secret Files #1.

Batman by Grant Morrison Book Three TP

Collects Batman #701–702, Batman & Robin #10–16, and Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #1–6. These issues were found in Batman: Time and the Batman, Batman & Robin: Batman vs. Robin, Batman & Robin: Batman and Robin Must Die, and Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne.

Batman by Neal Adams: Absolute Edition 1967-1970 HC

Said to be the first of two volumes and collecting the “complete works of Neal Adams on Batman from 1968 to 1970 in the oversize, beautiful, Absolute format” (those dates contradicting the title), with stories from World’s Finest Comics #175–176; Brave and the Bold #79–86; Detective Comics #395, #397, #400, and #402; and Batman #219.

Batman by Tom King Book Three TP

Collects Tom King’s Batman #41–60 and DC Nation #0, being some or all of Batman Vol. 6: Bride or Burglar, Batman Vol. 7: The Wedding, Batman Vol. 8: Cold Days, and Batman Vol. 9: The Tyrant Wing.

Collects Batman #33–69, Flash #64–65, and stories from DC Nation #0 and Batman Secret Files #1, being Batman Vol. 5: The Rules of Engagement, Batman Vol. 6: Bride or Burglar, Batman Vol. 7: The Wedding, Batman Vol. 8: Cold Days, Batman Vol. 9: The Tyrant Wing, and Batman Vol. 10: Knightmares, plus the Heroes in Crisis: The Price tie-in story.

Batman: The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween TP

The ten-issue miniseries and Long Halloween special, in paperback in August, following the hardcover. I just reviewed Last Halloween!

Batman Vol. 2 HC
Batman Vol. 2 TP

Batman: Beyond the White Knight: The Deluxe Edition HC

Collecting Batman: Beyond the White Knight #1–8 and Batman: White Knight Presents: Red Hood #1–2 in deluxe format.

Batman: Black Casebook: Deluxe Edition HC

This seems a much expanded Black Casebook volume, following the one that was published in 2009. The first collection contained Batman #65, #86, #112, #113, #134, #156, and #162; Detective Comics #215, #235, and #267; and World’s Finest Comics #89. The new collection adds to that Batman #62, #77, #153, #180, and #452–454; Detective Comics #148, #241, #247; and World’s Finest Comics #223, plus Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham’s story from Detective #1027. Presented, the solicitation says, “as an in-world artifact from the DC Universe,” it includes an introduction by Bruce Wayne (as written by Burnham).

Batman: City of Madness TP

Paperback of the three-issue Black Label series by Christian Ward, following 2024’s hardcover.

Batman: Detective Comics by Ram V Omnibus HC

At the end of five volumes, I had said I thought Ram V’s Detective run would make a good (and inevitable) omnibus, bringing together a story sweeping and operatic, if hampered by a couple of factors. The first of those was its similarity, maybe also inevitable, between this run and Chip Zdarsky’s Batman and others; the second was that many of the backup stories, mostly the ones by Simon Spurrier, seemed important in the beginning but were forgotten halfway through. I hardly need this book, but I’m awfully interested in both Ram V’s introduction and the afterwords by Spurrier specifically and then also by Dan Watters.

This is Detective Comics #1062–1089, Detective Comics 2022 Annual #1, and stories from Batman Secret Files #1, DC’s Crimes of Passion #1, and Strange Love Adventures #1, being Detective Comics Vol. 1: Gotham Nocturne: Overture, Detective Comics Vol. 2: Gotham Nocturne Act I, Detective Comics Vol. 3: Gotham Nocturne Act II, Detective Comics Vol. 4: Gotham Nocturne: Intermezzo: Batman, Outlaw, and Detective Comics Vol. 5: Gotham Nocturne Act III.

Batman: Detective Comics Vol. 3: The Courage That Kills HC
Batman: Detective Comics Vol. 3: The Courage That Kills TP

Issues #1101–1106 by Tom Taylor and Mikel Janin, in hardcover and paperback in August. I reviewed Batman: Detective Comics Vol. 1: Mercy of the Father this past January.

Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham - The Deluxe Edition HC

Finally complete and collected in deluxe, the four-issue miniseries by Rafael Grampa, coming in September.

Batman: Gotham Adventures Omnibus Vol. 1 HC

Collects Batman: Gotham Adventures #1–42, though the series would run for 60 issues, plus a story from Batman: Gotham Knights #14, Superman Adventures #25, Adventures in the DC Universe #3, Batgirl Adventures #1, and Harley & Ivy: Love on the Lam #1. I believe a lot of this has not been collected before, at least in the U.S.?

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight: Absolute Edition HC

Collects Batman: Gotham by Gaslight #1 and Batman: Master of the Future #1 by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola.

Batman: Harley and Ivy: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Collects Batman: Harley and Ivy #1–3, Batman Adventures Annual #1, Batman Adventures Holiday Special #1, Batman and Robin Adventures #8, Batgirl Adventures #1, and stories from Batman: Gotham Knights #14 and Batman Black and White #3, by Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Rick Burchett and company.

Batman: Hush 2 HC

I’ll believe it when I see it, but this is the solicitation for mid-September 2026, delayed from December 2025. Collects Batman #158–163 by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee. I reviewed Absolute Hush back in 2005!

Batman: Jekyll & Hyde (New Edition) TP

Reprinting the six-issue 2005 miniseries by Paul Jenkins with Jae Lee and Sean Phillips.

Batman: Killing Time TP

Paperback of the six-issue miniseries by Tom King and David Marquez, following the hardcover, in September.

Batman: Night of the Owls Compendium TP

Rather smart idea for a compendium, bringing together Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s two “Night of the Owls” volumes, Batman #1–11 in total, with All-Star Western #9, Catwoman #9, Nightwing #8–9, Red Hood and the Outlaws #9, Batgirl #9, Batman and Robin #9, Batman: The Dark Knight #9, Birds of Prey #9, Detective Comics #9, Batwing #9, and Batman Annual #1; previously those tie-in comics were only collected with Batman #8–11.

I reviewed Batman Vol. 1: The Court of Owls, Batman Vol. 2: City of Owls, and Batman: Night of the Owls in 2012–2013.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1 (New Edition) HC

New printing, collecting Brave and the Bold #74–106, teaming Batman with Wonder Woman, Deadman, Sgt. Rock, the Teen Titans, Metamorpho, Black Canary, the Spectre, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and more.

Batman: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1 HC

Collects Detective Comics #393–426 and Batman #217–244, Limited Collectors' Edition #51, and Saga of Ra’s al Ghul #1–4 (though that seems to have been largely reprints).

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (New Edition) TP

New printing for the 40th anniversary.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Deluxe Edition HC

Deluxe printing of Frank Miller, Klaus Janson, and Lynn Varley’s four-issue miniseries, with a tribute cover gallery and extras.

Batman: The Golden Age Omnibus Vol. 4 (New Edition) HC

Collects the Golden Age Detective Comics #93–112, Batman #26–35, and stories from World’s Finest Comics #15–22.

Batman: The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul (New Edition) TP

New printing of the crossover, collecting Batman #670–671, Robin #168–169, Detective Comics #838–839, Nightwing #138–139, Batman Annual #26, and Robin Annual #7. The solicitation’s got a lot of chutzpah calling this “a defining modern event” rather than “a bland interruption of Grant Morrison’s Batman run.” I reviewed Batman: The Resurrection of Ra’s al Ghul in 2008, calling it “gigantically decompressed story with a lot of punching and kicking, but not much to make it very remarkable.”

Batman: The Silver Age Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Collects Batman #117–132 and Detective Comics #258–281, with Bat-Mite, Calendar Man, and Mr. Zero.

Batman: White Knight Presents: Generation Joker TP

Paperback, following the hardcover; collects Batman: White Knight Presents: Generation Joker #1–6 by Katana Collins, Clay McCormack, and Mirka Andolfo as part of the Sean Murphy-verse. I reviewed Batman: White Knight Presents: Generation Joker in 2024.

Batman/Static: Beyond TP

In hardcover in August, collecting the six-issue miniseries by Evan Narcisse, Nikolas Draper-Ivey, and Miguel Mendonça.

Batman/Superman: World's Finest Vol. 9: The Merger HC
Batman/Superman: World's Finest Vol. 9: The Merger TP

Issues #44–49, in hardcover and paperback in August, by Mark Waid and Mark Russell. I had not realized that Russell is co-writing the title?

Batwoman Omnibus (New Edition) HC

Collects Detective Comics #854–863, Batwoman #0 (the interstitial one), Batwoman #0–24, and the Batwoman Annual #1. This is a book of high-highs and low-lows, going from Greg Rucka and JH Williams' stellar debut of Batwoman Kate Kane in Detective, to Williams and W. Haden Blackman’s complicated but sufficiently haunting work on the Batwoman New 52 series, to the abrupt end of Williams and Blackman’s run amidst some friction with DC, to the inevitably swift and unsatisfying conclusion to that run by incoming writer Marc Andreyko. Still worth a read; when it was good, it was really good.

This is the stories Batwoman: Elegy, “Cutter”, Batwoman Vol. 1: Hydrology, Batwoman Vol. 2: To Drown the World, Batwoman Vol. 3: World’s Finest, and Batwoman Vol. 4: This Blood is Thick.

Birds of Prey by Gail Simone Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Collects Birds of Prey #91–108, Birds of Prey #1–15 (lightly tied to Brightest Day), and “a range of one-shots and specials.” Being “by Gail Simone,” this necessarily skips issues #109–127 of the original series by other writers, though it makes me question whether issue #91 will really be in here, since it’s also got a guest writer (and was not collected originally).

This is, give or take, Birds of Prey: Perfect Pitch, Birds of Prey: Blood and Circuits, Birds of Prey: Dead of Winter, Birds of Prey: End Run, and Birds of Prey: The Death of Oracle.

Bleeding Hearts Vol. 1 TP

In paperback in October, the first collection of the new Vertigo series by Absolute Martian Manhunter’s Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian. Collects issues #1–6.

Catwoman Vol. 3: Court of Fools TP

In paperback in early August, the next collection by Torunn Gronbekk, collecting issues #79–84. Seems like this is still going, though I was sorry to glance at the solicitation and see what seems a rehash of well-traveled Catwoman plots; granted I haven’t read it yet. I did read Gronbekk’s Catwoman Vol. 1: Who Is Selina Kyle in July.

Crisis on Infinite Earths: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Worlds would live, worlds would die, the print’s gonna be awful small but all 12 issues of Crisis for $9.99 is a steal.

Dark Nights: Metal: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Dark Nights: Metal #1–6, Batman: Lost #1, and Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt #1, in compact format.

DC Compact Comics Box Set

A box set of these Compact Comics is a great idea, and at six of them for $50 when they’re usually $10 each, it also seems like a bargain! The descriptions of these books in the solicitation are priceless: All-Star Superman (the last days of Superman), Batman: The Dark Knight Returns(old man Bruce Wayne out of retirement and saving Gotham), Batman: The Long Halloween (a mystery, and all the greatest Batman villains are suspects), DC: The New Frontier (the world of DC heroes across the globe must unite for the first time ever), Kingdom Come (in the future of DC, a war between old heroes and new is brewing), and Watchmen (the superhero murder mystery that became a world-wide bestseller).

DC Finest: Batman: The Curse of Crime Alley TP

Collects Denny O’Neil and Len Wein’s Batman #307–324, Detective Comics #482–490, DC Special Series #21, and Brave and the Bold #159 from 1979–1980.

DC Finest: Batman: The Demon Lives Again! TP

Collects Batman #231–245 and Detective Comics #410–429 from the 1970s, with an emphasis on Ra’s al Ghul, but also plenty else – Ten-Eyed Man, Two-Face, the Reaper, and more.

DC Finest: Catwoman: Creatures of the Night TP

Collects Catwoman #33–53, Catwoman Annual #3–4, and DC Universe Holiday Bash #1 by Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, and Jim Balent, plus pages and pin-ups from Batman Chronicles Gallery #1 and Batman Secret Files #1. There’s tie-ins here with “Legacy,” but the book ends before “Cataclysm” and “No Man’s Land,” to give you a sense of the time period. One annual is “Legends of a Dead Earth” and the other is “Pulp Heroes.”

DC Finest: Doom Patrol: The End Sacrifices the Means TP

Collects Rachel Pollack’s Doom Patrol #64–87, Vertigo Jam #1, and Doom Patrol Annual #2, with Richard Case, Linda Medley, Ted McKeever, the Pander Brothers, Scot Eaton, and more. This is almost the same as the Doom Patrol by Rachel Pollack Omnibus, short Totems #1.

DC Finest: Events: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two TP

Collects DC Comics Presents #86 and #95, Infinity, Inc. #20–22, Infinity, Inc. Annual #1, The New Teen Titans #13–14, Swamp Thing #44–46, Wonder Woman #328–329, Legends of the DC Universe: Crisis on Infinite Earths #1, Crisis on Infinite Earths #5, All-Star Squadron #53–56, and Superman #413.

DC Finest: Events: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three TP

Collects Justice League of America #245, Superman #414–415, Green Lantern #195–196, DC Comics Presents #87–88, Legion of Super-Heroes #16 and #18, Infinity, Inc. #23–24, Justice League of America Annual #3, Crisis on Infinite Earths #6–9, Vigilante #22, Omega Men #31, and Blue Devil #17–18, “the explosive middle chapters of the crossover.” So not even the end of this collections series!

DC Finest: Events: Legends Part One TP

DC Finest don’t get released digital, which is a shame, but DC’s really got something good going with this omnibus to Finest pipeline. Legends tie-ins – what a collection. Includes Legends #1–3, Infinity Inc. #34–36, Hawkman #5–6, Secret Origins #10, Crisis on Infinite Earths #12 (really?), Batman #401, Detective Comics #568, Justice League of America #258, Green Lantern Corps #207–208, Fury of Firestorm #55–56, Blue Beetle #9, Cosmic Boy #1–2, and Booster Gold #13.

DC Finest: Green Lantern: Setting Up Shop TP

Some of these Green Lantern Corps stories from just post-Crisis on Infinite Earths have been collected, but not all of them, so I’m glad to see this (DC Finest is killing it!). Featured here are some of the Green Lanterns I heard about when I first got into the GL mythos but never experienced their adventures firsthand, like Katma Tui and Arisia. Collects Secret Origins #7, Action Comics #589, Green Lantern #201–205, Green Lantern Corps #206–219, Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual #2, and Green Lantern Annual #3. Corps would end with issue #224, but another volume could collect the final issues plus stories from Action Comics Weekly and even Green Lantern Corps Quarterly issues.

DC Finest: Harley Quinn: The Ballad of Harley Quinn TP

Collects Harley Quinn #9–25 from the first series, finishing out the run mainly by Karl Kesel and Terry and Rachel Dodson, Harley Quinn: Our Worlds at War, Harley and Ivy: Love on the Lam, and Gotham Girls #1–5. This follows the previous DC Finest: Harley Quinn: Birth of the Mirth.

DC Finest: Horror: Where Dead Men Walk TP

Collects House of Secrets #86–90, House of Mystery #186–190, Phantom Stranger #7, The Witching Hour #8–12, and The Unexpected #118–123 “in restored clarity.”

DC Finest: Justice League of America: Crisis on Earth-X TP

Collects Justice League of America #103–132, with appearances by (deep breath) Phantom Stranger, Shaggy Man, Elongated Man, Red Tornado, the Freedom Fighters, Eclipso, the Key, Libra, Amazo, Nekron, Sonar, and Queen Bee, plus the Justice Society and the saga of Sandy, the Sandman’s sidekick; Hawkman and Golden Eagle; and the wedding of Adam Strange.

DC Finest: Superman: The Man of Steel TP

More than just Man of Steel, this is John Byrne, Marv Wolfman, and Jerry Ordway’s Man of Steel #1–6, Superman #1–6, Adventures of Superman #424–429, and Action Comics #584–588, being more or less the Superman: The Man of Steel Vols. 1–3 collections.

DC Finest: Swamp Thing: The Man Who Would Not Die TP

Collects Len Wein’s original Swamp Thing #1–22, plus The House of Secrets #92 and #140, The Phantom Stranger #14, and Brave and the Bold #122, being a variety of early appearances.

DC Finest: Teen Titans: Terra in the Night! TP

Collects 1982 and 1983’s New Teen Titans ahead of “Judas Contract,” being issues #21–32, plus The New Teen Titans Annual #1, Tales of the New Teen Titans #1–4, New Teen Titans (Drug Awareness) #1–3, and a cameo appearance from Action Comics #536.

DC K.O. HC
DC K.O. TP

Issues #1–5, in early August, in hardcover and paperback.

DC K.O. Justice League Unlimited TP

The solicitation cover for this is that of Justice League Unlimited #9, which will be collected in Justice League Unlimited Vol. 2: The Omega Act, but this is Justice League Unlimited #12–16, coming the third week in August in paperback.

DC K.O. Superman TP

Collects Joshua Williamson’s issues #28–35 in paperback in July, a lot earlier than the rest (unless that’s meant to be August). That picks up right where Superman Vol. 5: Love and Mercy left off. The solicitation still does not mention the inclusion of the Summer of Superman special.

DC K.O. The Flash TP

Collects Flash #26–30 by Mark Waid, Christopher Cantwell, and Vasco Georgiev, in paperback in late August. The solicitation is very adamant to mention that this is “Volume 5 of the ongoing The Flash series collections.”

DC K.O. Titans TP

Collects Titans #28–32, the end of John Layman’s run, and Titans Annual #1, by Phil Jimenez. This solicitation would also like you to know this is “Volume 5 of the ongoing Titans series collections,” though that’s an iffy point since it becomes New Titans with the next volume.

DC K.O.: All Fight TP

This is DC K.O.: Superman vs. Captain Atom #1, Aquaman #12, DC K.O.: Wonder Woman vs. Lobo #1, Titans #30, DC K.O.: Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna #1, Flash #28, Superman #33, and DC K.O.: Red Hood vs. Joker #1, just in paperback, also at the beginning of August. These are the “All Fight Month” titles, whether within their own series or in specials.

DC K.O.: Battle Royale TP

In paperback the second week of August. The headliner here seems to be DC K.O. Knightfight #1–4, though this also collects Justice League: The Omega Act Special #1 (also in the Justice League book), DC K.O.: The Kids Are All Fight Special #1, DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam #1, and DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 – so, the specials that aren’t the “Vs.” specials.

The DC Universe by Keith Giffen HC

Another one where we might say the best time for DC to have published this was before Keith Giffen passed away, and the second-best time is now. I do think the suggestion that this volume will make you “laugh, cry, laugh some more, become confused, and be entertained” is a pretty good distillation of Giffen’s work.

Collects Legion of Substitute Heroes Special #1, Legion of Super-Heroes (1989) #1, Justice League America #45, Justice League #5, Secret Origins #34, Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special #1, Big Book of Urban Legends #1, Blue Beetle #1, 52 #17, Ambush Bug #1–4, and – finally! – The Heckler #1–6.

DC vs. Vampires: World War V Vol. 2 TP

Issues #7–12 by Matthew Rosenberg, Otto Schmidt, and company, in December. Still waiting for DC vs. Vampires to do all-in-ones.

DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories HC
DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories TP

In hardcover and paperback in September and collecting all the new stuff on DC’s side – DC/Marvel: Batman/Deadpool #1 and DC/Marvel: Superman/Spider-Man #1 and their associated short stories, and the digital comics DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four and DC/Marvel: Supergirl/Blade. I assume this means Marvel will have their own collection?

Deadman by Kelley Jones: The Complete Collection (New Edition) TP

New (and expanded?) printing, collecting Deadman: Love After Death, Deadman: Exorcism, stories from the recent Batman: The Brave and the Bold #13–16, and “Grave Doings” from Action Comics Weekly #618–621.

Deathstroke by Christopher Priest Omnibus (New Edition) HC

Being Christopher Priest’s fantastic run on Deathstroke, thoughtful and challenging and morally gray; honestly the new Deathstroke series has a lot to live up to. I really ought re-read this whole thing, but who has the time? Collects Deathstroke: Rebirth #1, Deathstroke #1–50, Deathstroke Annual #1, Titans #11, Teen Titans #8 and #28–30, Teen Titans: The Lazarus Contract Special, and a story from DC Universe Holiday Special 2017.

I reviewed these as Deathstroke Vol. 1: The Professional, Deathstroke Vol. 2: The Gospel of Slade, Deathstroke Vol. 3: Twilight, Deathstroke Vol. 4: Defiance, Deathstroke Vol. 5: The Fall of Slade, Batman vs. Deathstroke, Deathstroke: Arkham, and Deathstroke: RIP.

Deathstroke Vol. 1: The Professional (2026 Edition) TP

Pleased to see Christopher Priest’s exceptional Deathstroke run still getting some love. This is issues #1–5 and the Rebirth special; I reviewed Deathstroke Vol. 1: The Professional in 2018.

The Demon by Jack Kirby: Absolute Edition HC

Collects all 16 issues of Jack Kirby’s original Demon series from the 1970s, plus the Demon’s Who’s Who entry and other extras.

The Demon: Hell's Hitman (2026 Edition) TP

Also in time for the Demon’s Next Level series, this reprints Garth Ennis and John McCrea’s Demon Annual #2 and Demon #40 and #42–49. The annual is the first appearance of the popular Hitman Tommy Monaghan and his appearances in Demon predate Monaghan’s own series.

End of Life Vol. 1 TP

The Vertigo series by Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh, in paperback in October, collecting issues #1–6.

Fables: No More Happily Ever After: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Collects issues #1–10 of Fables, being Fables: Legends in Exile and Fables: Animal Farm. I never did finish Fables, leaving off at Fables: Homelands.

Firestorm: The Nuclear Man (2026 Edition) TP

I guess this is timed for Jeff Lemire’s new Firestorm series. I’d also guess there’s not much connection between that and this from Gerry Conway from the Legends of Tomorrow anthology series, but I’ve got it in the pile so maybe I’ll read it beforehand.

The Flash Vol. 6 TP

In paperback in December, issues #31–36 by new series writer Ryan North. The Flash title could use a win, is what I’ll say.

Gotham City: Year One: Deluxe Edition HC

Deluxe edition of the six-issue Tom King/Phil Hester miniseries; still got to find time to read this one.

Green Lantern Corps Vol. 2: New World Order TP

Issues #10–13 and the DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam special, so kind of a DC K.O.: Green Lantern book, by Jeremy Adams, Morgan Hampton, and Fernando Pasarin. Coming in August in paperback.

Green Lantern Corps Vol. 3: Guy Gardner - Born Again? TP

What an … odd title? In paperback in November by Morgan Hampton and Fernando Pasarin, collecting Green Lantern Corps #14–19.

Green Lantern Corps: Recharge (2026 Edition) TP

New printing of the five-issue mini in time for the HBO series; I reviewed Green Lantern Corps: Recharge in 2006 (Twenty years? Good lord!).

Green Lantern Vol. 6: With This Ring TP

In paperback in August, collecting Green Lantern #28–33, including the oversized 600th issue.

Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Vol. 1 (2026 Edition) TP

Said to collect Green Lantern #48–57, New Titans #116–117, and R.E.B.E.L.S. #1. As discussed with DC’s June 2026 solicitations, the original printing of this also had Green Lantern #0 and no reason to think that’s not still in there. We saw a compendium that collected the first two volumes of this, but never any material into the cancelled third volume; maybe this is a sign there’s still a chance.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps by Robert Venditti Omnibus Vol. 1 HC

Collects Green Lantern: Lost Army Sneak Peek, Green Lantern: Lost Army #1–6, Green Lantern Corps: Edge of Oblivion #1–6, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps: Rebirth #1, and Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #1–21.

This was Venditti’s second run on a Green Lantern title, after he had the unenviable job of following Geoff Johns on Green Lantern proper. Venditti was obviously up for the task, writing 30-some issues there and 50-plus here. I liked Venditti’s Hal Jordan, and I said artist Rafa Sandoval “is a excellent addition to the title, giving Hal and the other characters a youthful energy that they haven’t always had.”

In the main, this is Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps Vol. 1: Sinestro’s Law, Vol. 2: Bottled Light, and Vol. 3: Quest for Hope.

Harley & Ivy: Life & Crimes TP

Erica Henderson’s six-issue miniseries, in paperback in August. Eager to read it, though skeptical that this is as “definitive” and “canonical” as the solicitation claims.

Harley Quinn by Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti Omnibus Vol. 1 (New Edition) HC

New edition of the collection of Harley Quinn #0–16, Harley Quinn: Futures End #1, Harley Quinn Invades Comic-Con International San Diego Special, Harley Quinn Annual #1, Harley Quinn Holiday Special, Harley Quinn: Valentine’s Day Special, and Harley Quinn and Power Girl #1–6. I reviewed this as Harley Quinn Vol. 1: Hot in the City, Harley Quinn Vol. 2: Power Outage, Harley Quinn Vol. 3: Kiss Kiss Bang Stab, and Harley Quinn and Power Girl.

Harley Quinn in Paradise Vol. 1 TP

In paperback in October, the DC GO! webcomic episodes #1–13 by CRC Payne, Siobhan Chiffon, and Cathy Le.

Harley Quinn Vol. 3: The Harq Knight Returns! TP

Just in time for the 40th … oh, wait, no. This is issues #58–65 by Elliott Kalan and Carlos Olivares, in paperback in December.

House of Mystery: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 2 (New Edition) HC

New printing, collecting issues #201–226, with work by Bernie Wrightson, Sergio Aragonés, Jim Starlin, and more.

House of Secrets: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1 (New Edition) HC

Collects issues #81–111, with creators including Bernie Wrightson, Len Wein, Alex Toth, Marv Wolfman, Gerry Conway, Neal Adams, Jim Aparo, and Sergio Aragonés.

JLA by Mark Waid Omnibus HC

I saw this and expected it would just be Mark Waid’s JLA issues proper, around Grant Morrison’s and then when Waid took over the series. But it’s quite impressively expanded, actually, to include Waid’s JLA: Year One #1–12 and the sequel Flash & Green Lantern: The Brave & The Bold #1–6, plus Waid’s lead-in to Morrison’s JLA, Justice League: A Midsummer’s Nightmare #1–3, and then also JLA #18–21, #32–33, #43–58, and #60. As well, JLA Secret Files and Origins #3 and the graphic novel JLA: Heaven’s Ladder.

Jonah Hex: A Face Full of Violence (2026 Edition) TP

In time for Jonah Hex’s DC Next Level series, this reprints the first six issues of the 2006 series by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti (who also did All-Star Western), which – I had no idea – went for 70 issues! With Luke Ross and Hex’s co-creator Tony DeZuniga. In paperback in September.

JSA Compendium Two TP

Coming in November, collecting JSA #26–51, JSA Secret Files #2, Green Arrow #12–13 (Hawkman), Suicide Squad #12 (JSA appearance), JSA: Our Worlds at War #1, Hawkman #19 (Black Adam), JSA All-Stars #1–8, JLA/JSA Secret Files #1, All-Star Comics 80-Page Giant #1, Secret Origins of Super Villains Giant #1, and the graphic novel JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice.

These were collected in trade as JSA: Fair Play, JSA: Stealing Thunder, JSA: Savage Times, and JSA: Princes of Darkness.

JSA Vol. 3: Year One HC
JSA Vol. 3: Year One TP

Issues #13–18 by Jeff Lemire and Gavin Guidry, in hardcover and paperback in August.

Justice League of America: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 4 HC

Collects Action Comics #534–535, Justice League of America #183–206, Wonder Woman #291–293, New Teen Titans #4, and Fury of Firestorm #4, by Gerry Conway, George Perez, Marv Wolfman, Curt Swan, and more.

Justice League Unlimited Vol. 4: Villain Amnesty HC
Justice League Unlimited Vol. 4: Villain Amnesty TP

In hardcover and paperback in December, following the events of DC K.O.. This collects Justice League Unlimited #17–22. It is appealing to see Justice League as a flagship, “this is what happens next in the DCU”-type book again.

Justice League: Origin: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

The first six issues by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. I reviewed Justice League Vol. 1: Origin in 2012.

Kamandi by Jack Kirby Omnibus (New Edition) HC

Issues #1–40 of the 1970s series by Jack Kirby, apparently “reprinted on period appropriate paper.”

Kingdom Come: 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition HC

The four-issue miniseries by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, in hardcover in October, plus “more than 100 pages of extras.”

Legion of Super-Heroes by Mark Waid and Barry Kitson Omnibus HC

Mark Waid and Barry Kitson’s all-new (at the time) take on the Legion, which I found to be one of the more accessible of the various Legion runs. Collects Legion of Super Heroes #1–15, Teen Titans/Legion Special #1, Brave & Bold #1–6 (by Waid and culminating in a Legion appearance), and Supergirl and The Legion of Super-Heroes #16–36 (finished up by Tony Bedard).

I reviewed these as Legion of Super-Heroes: Teenage Revolution, Legion of Super-Heroes: Death of a Dream, Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes: Strange Visitor from Another Century, Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes: Adult Education, Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes: Dominator War, and Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes: The Quest for Cosmic Boy.

Metamorpho: Year One (New Edition) TP

What feels a little late after the Superman movie, this is a reprinting of the six-issue Dan Jurgens/Mike Norton miniseries from 2007. This was part of a spate of “Year One” miniseries in the late 2000s.

Mister Miracle: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Tom King and Mitch Gerads 12-issue series. I reviewed Mister Miracle in 2021.

New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 3 (New Edition) HC

Contents are listed as New Teen Titans #38, Tales of the Teen Titans #45–50, New Teen Titans Vol. 2 #1–6, New Titans #50–61 and 66–67, and Secret Origins Annual #3. I would point out that these are the contents of the original New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 3, panned for being piecemeal (see “New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 3 – Lies, Damn Lies, and Omissions”), and later replaces with a Vol. 3 that collected Tales of the Teen Titans #41–58, the Annual #3, and New Teen Titans Vol. 2 #1–9. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was that instead.

The New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1 HC

Different from the June 2026 solicitations announcement, this is said to collect New Titans #50–70 (not through #76 as originally announced), and then New Titans Annual #5–6, Secret Origins Annual #3, Batman #436–442, Hawk and Dove #11–12, Hawk and Dove Annual #1, and a story from Secret Origins #46 (Titans), plus Secret Origins Annual #3 (Teen Titans), pages from Wonder Woman #22–23 (appearances by Phoebe ahead of “Who Is Wonder Girl”), and Wonder Woman #47–48 (team-up with Troia).

New Titans, since I know this is confusing, was New Teen Titans until issue #50, when the title changed. That was the second volume of New Teen Titans; the first volume ran until issue #40, when it was renamed Tales of the New Teen Titans and the second volume of New Teen Titans launched.

What we have here is the “Who Is Wonder Girl” storyline, the “Lonely Place of Dying” crossover with Batman that introduced Robin Tim Drake (plus, seemingly, “Batman: Year Three”), now ending just ahead of “Titans Hunt.” At about 20-ish issues per omnibus, that would make the eventual New Titans Omnibus Vol. 2 essentially a “Titans Hunt” collection, if not also the Titans: Total Chaos crossover.

New Titans Vol. 1 TP

In paperback in December, collecting issues #33–37 of the new title by Tate Brombal and Sami Basri. High hopes for this one; hope it doesn’t let me down.

Nightwing: Year One TP

In paperback in November, a reprint of Chuck Dixon, Scott Beatty, and Scott McDaniel’s Nightwing #101–106.

Nothing Butt Nightwing Vol. 1 TP

In paperback in October, the DC GO! webcomic episodes #1–13 by Patrick R. Young and Moy R. Marco. Read it or be left behind! (I’ll show myself out.)

The Peril of the Brutal Dark: An Ezra Cain Mystery TP

In paperback in October, the new Vertigo series by Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips, collecting issues #1–6. I liked Condon’s Green Arrow Vol. 4: Fresh Water Kills, I’m bummed it didn’t last very long, and I want everyone to know about it.

Poison Ivy: Deluxe Edition Vol. 1 HC

Quite deserving, this is G. Willow Wilson and Marcio Takara’s Poison Ivy #1–12, plus stories from Batman #124 and Gotham City Villains Giant, in deluxe size in October. The story is scary and gripping, the art is lush, and this is quite a good jumping on point if you haven’t already. Collected in trades as Poison Ivy Vol. 1: The Virtuous Cycle and Poison Ivy Vol. 2: Unethical Consumption.

Power Girl: New Beginnings and Old Friends Omnibus HC

Collects the early 2000s Power Girl material, including JSA: Classified #1–4 by Geoff Johns with Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti; Supergirl #12 by Palmiotti, Justin Gray, and Conner, introducing the new Terra who would appear in the Power Girl series; Terra #1–4 by Palmiotti, Gray, and Conner; Power Girl #1–27 (Palmiotti, Gray, Conner through issue #12, then Judd Winick and Lilah Sturges); and Wonder Woman #600 (likely the “Fuzzy Logic” story). Being Power Girl, Terra, Power Girl: A New Beginning, Power Girl: Aliens and Apes, Power Girl: Bomb Squad, and Power Girl: Old Friends.

Preacher Compendium One TP

Collects Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s Preacher #1–33, plus Preacher Special: Saint of Killers #1–4 and Preacher Special: Cassidy - Blood & Whiskey #1. This is essentially the same as the Preacher hardcover and paperback Book One–Book Three, or the Preacher: The 25th Anniversary Omnibus Vol. 1.

Red Robin: Tim Drake Compendium TP

This is an unexpected one. Not sure if I might say “unwelcome,” not because these stories were poor necessarily (I recall enjoying them) but because there’s still a sizable gap in the collections of the Robin series begun by Chuck Dixon, and this does little to close it.

Contents are said to be Robin #175–183, Red Robin #1–26 (by Christopher Yost and then Fabian Nicieza), Blackest Night: Batman #1–3, Bruce Wayne: The Road Home: Red Robin #1, Batgirl #8, Teen Titans #92, Batman #709, Gotham City Sirens #22, Superman/Batman #62, and Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #1–6. That Superman/Batman issue was published at the same time as the Red Robin series but doesn’t feature Tim’s Red Robin identity, I don’t think, and I’m skeptical that all of Return of Bruce Wayne is in there as Tim is mostly just in the final issue. Batman #709 and Sirens #22 are part of the “Judgment on Gotham” crossover with Red Robin #22, though Batman #708 should maybe also be in there.

These stories were previously collected for the most part in Robin: Search for a Hero, Red Robin: The Grail, Red Robin: Collision, Red Robin: The Hit List, Red Robin: Seven Days of Death, and Batman: Gotham Will Be Judged.

Renaissance of Raven TP

In paperback in October, the whole of this DC GO! webcomic series, issues #1–26, by Sina Grace, Nico Bascunan, Katherine Lobo, and Carola Borelli. Won the 2025 Ringo Award for Best Webcomic, apparently.

Robin & Batman: Jason Todd TP

Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen’s three-issue miniseries, in paperback following the hardcover. I found Robin & Batman: Jason Todd problematic, but yes, I’d still read a third one with Tim Drake.

Robin: Tim Drake Compendium Two TP

Collects Robin #6–30, Robin Annual #3–4 (“Elseworlds” and “Year One”), Azrael: Agent of the Bat #15–16, Batman: Shadow of the Bat #48–49, Detective Comics #685–686 (“War of the Dragons”) and #695–696, Catwoman #25 and #31–32, Green Arrow #105, Showcase '94 #5–6, and The Batman Chronicles #2 and #4. A lot of the non-Robin issues there are the “Contagion” crossover. It’s obviously a good sign these compendiums are continuing, though this book doesn’t go much farther than the Robin Vol. 5: War of the Dragons collection.

Rorschach by Tom King and Jorge Fornes: Deluxe Edition HC

I really liked this one from Tom King; I reviewed it in Rorschach not long after I enjoyed the Watchmen TV show. Coming in deluxe hardcover in December.

Sgt. Rock by Joe Kubert: Deluxe Edition HC

Collects G.I. Combat #68; Our Army at War #83, #91, #117, #135, #141, #158, #165, #196, #233, and #238; Sgt. Rock #302–304 and #368; Sgt. Rock Special #1; Joe Kubert Presents #5; and Showcase #45, plus the the “never-before-seen” story “What’s to Tell?” and “contextual material” from Who’s Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe.

The Spectre by John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Finishing John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake’s run with pages from Who’s Who #8, Spectre #32–62, Showcase '95 #8 (story takes place between Spectre #33–34), Spectre Annual #1, and material from Who’s Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #21 and Who’s Who Update 1987 #5.

Suicide Squad by John Ostrander Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

A previous solicitation said this was Deadshot #1–4, Suicide Squad #19–39, Suicide Squad Annual #1, Manhunter #6–7 and #14, Firestorm #82 and #86–87, Justice League of America #27, Checkmate #15–18, Captain Atom #30, and stories from Secret Origins #37, The Flash #12, and Invasion! #1–3 – some of which is the “Janus Directive” crossover, but there’s tertiary issues on top of that, too.

Supergirl Vol. 2: Hometown Horrors TP

In paperback in September, collecting Sophie Campbell’s Supergirl #7–10 plus the Summer of Supergirl Special with work by Mark Waid, Gail Simone, Belen Ortega, and Joe Quinones.

Ahem, Bob. Ahem.

Superman Unlimited Vol. 2: This Looks Like a Job... HC
Superman Unlimited Vol. 2: This Looks Like a Job... TP

In hardcover and paperback in August. This is said to collect Superman Unlimited #7–10 and the Superman: Chains of Love Special, which also still leaves the Summer of Superman special missing in action.

Superman: Action Comics Vol. 2: Reign of the Superboys - Future Shock TP

Said to be issues #1096–1100, in paperback in November. I couldn’t say to what extent the “Reign of the Superboys” event is meant to be read sequentially, but clearly this doesn’t include the Superman, Superman Unlimited, and Supergirl issues.

Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus Vol. 2: All-Out War! HC

Collects Wonder Woman #172–173, Superman #172–175, Adventures of Superman #594–596, Action Comics #781–783, Superman: The Man of Steel #116–118, Batman #593–594, Superboy #90–91, Impulse #77, Supergirl #60–61, Young Justice #35–36, Harley Quinn: Our Worlds at War #1, Wonder Woman: Our Worlds at War #1, World’s Finest Comics: Our Worlds at War #1, Flash: Our Worlds at War #1, JLA: Our Worlds at War #1, JSA: Our Worlds at War #1, Nightwing: Our Worlds at War #1, and Superman/Batman #68–71.

Notable here is that Our Worlds at War formally ends with Action #782 and World’s Finest: OWAW, but that this continues with two more issues of Superman and one more issue of Adventures, Action, and SMOS – basically a month plus of the Super-titles. Most of those issues have not been reprinted before; among those is Adventures #596, which inadvertently had an image that resembled the 9–11 attacks.

I do wonder if DC will keep Superman/Batman #68–71 in there or not. That’s the controversial Superman/Batman: Big Noise, which had been billed – some 10 years later – as a retroactive tie-in to Our Worlds at War, but the story itself is far less specific, leading to some disappointment among readers.

Superman: The Man of Steel by John Byrne: Absolute Edition HC

Absolute printing of the definitive six-issue Superman origin.

Superman: The Silver Age Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Collects Action Comics #266–288 and Superman #138–153, with Mr. Mxyzptlk, Supergirl, Krypto, Bizarro, and more, with work by Jerry Siegel, Otto Binder, Wayne Boring, and Curt Swan.

Superman: The Triangle Era Omnibus Vol. 3 HC

Collects Action Comics #687–697, Action Comics Annual #5, Adventures of Superman #500–510, Adventures of Superman Annual #5, Superman #78–88, Superman Annual #5, Superman: The Man of Steel #22–32, Superman: The Man of Steel Annual #2, Green Lantern #46, and Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey.

Superman/Shazam!: First Thunder TP

Judd Winick and Josh Middleton’s four-issue imaging of Superman and Captain Marvel’s first meeting, ahead of Winick’s Trials of Shazam and etc. I reviewed Superman/Shazam: First Thunder in 2007.

Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch Book Three: Time Upon a Once TP

Collects Swamp Thing #80–87 and Swamp Thing Annual #5. Veitch’s unpublished Swamp Thing #88 is not explicitly referenced in the solicitation, so up in the air whether it gets some kind of nod here or not. The inclusion of Neil Gaiman’s Midnight Days may or may not be the same thing as the annual; also mentioned is Swamp Thing/Vertigo Special #1–4, which might be DC’s current Swamp Thing 1989, finishing Veitch’s story.

Swamp Thing: Dark Genesis Omnibus HC

Seemingly quite the complete volume, this is the original Swamp Thing #1–25 (that final issue newly completed); then the second series, Saga of the Swamp Thing #1–15 and Saga of the Swamp Thing Annual #1, which takes us almost but not quite up to the Alan Moore run. Included also are Brave and the Bold #122 and #176, DC Comics Presents #8, Challengers of the Unknown #81–87, and stories from Phantom Stranger #14, House of Secrets #92 and #140, and, we’re told, an unpublished Patchwork Man story from House of Secrets #141. Also here with “high-end, period appropriate paper.” Coming in November.

Swamp Thing: The Anatomy Lesson: DC Compact Comics Edition TP

Collects Saga of the Swamp Thing #20–27, the beginning of Alan Moore’s run on the title.

Tom Strong Compendium (2026 Edition) TP

Collects the 36 issues of the original series by Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse.

The Unwritten Compendium Two TP

The second and final compendium collection of Mike Carey and Peter Gross’s Vertigo series. I’m not doing justice to its premise but it’s about a man who was the childhood inspiration for a series of fantasy novels, but things get metaphysical from there. Collects Unwritten #31, #31.5, #32, #32.5, #33, #33.5, #34, #34.5, #35, #35.5, and #36–54, as well as The Unwritten: Apocalypse #1–12, including appearances by the Fables characters.

The Warlord by Mike Grell Omnibus Vol. 2 HC

Coming in November, collecting Warlord #37–71, Warlord Annual #1, DC Sampler #2, and DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest #10. This is the end of Grell’s Warlord run, though the series continued to issue #133.

Wonder Woman by Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang Compendium TP

In paperback in November. Interesting to see this with the “compendium” moniker, which usually indicates the inclusion of extraneous issues, whereas Azzarello’s Wonder Woman was almost maniacally self-contained. Anyway, this is the whole thing: Wonder Woman #0–35, #23.1, and a story from Secret Origins #6.

Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons: Absolute Edition HC

Though we have not seen what I thought was supposed to be a series of Historia books, here is the Absolute edition of the three-issue mini by Kelly Sue DeConnick, Phil Jimenez, Gene Ha, and Nicola Scott, coming in August (maybe in time for a sequel?).

Wonder Woman Vol. 2: Year One (New Edition) TP

Collecting mainly the past-set issues from Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott’s Rebirth run, Wonder Woman #2, #4, #6, #8, #10, #12, and #14. I reviewed Wonder Woman Vol. 2: Year One in 2017.

Wonder Woman Vol. 5: The Wonder War Act I TP

La, la, not looking at any spoilers. This is issues #31–36 by Tom King, Daniel Sampere, and company, in paperback in November.

Wonder Woman: Rebirth by Greg Rucka Omnibus HC

Every Wonder Woman book by Greg Rucka is a book worth reading. I would venture that this, his Rebirth run, does not quite hold up to his original pre-Infinite Crisis run, but still, see point A, and also I think this reads a lot better linearly than it did split between even and odd issues in the original first and second volumes.

Wonder Woman: The Golden Age Omnibus Vol. 3 (New Edition) HC

Collects Sensation Comics #49–69, Comic Cavalcade #14–22, and Wonder Woman #16–25.

World's Finest Deluxe (2026 Edition) HC

Dave Gibbons and Steve Rude’s 1990 three-issue World’s Finest was one of my formative early comics. Aside from the sheer majesty of looking like it was cut from a Fleischer cartoon, it’s also the best kind of team-up story, that teams not only the heroes but also their antecedents among their supporting casts. Well worth checking out.

  1. I hope they release a new omnibus for WW by George Perez.

  2. I would be incredibly impressed if the Venditti Hal and Pals Omni contains those two GLC mini series, but considering they are by Cullen Bunn and Tom Taylor and generally not connected to the rebirth run, I assume they’re gone by next solicit.

Maybe if we ever get a Sinestro Omnibus. Or a New 52 Gap filler Omni.

    1. I wonder if the cover of the House of Secrets: Bronze reprint will change to be more similar to the House of Mystery: Bronze trade dress.
